Diane, Gregg, Austin & Moraya

I can't believe it has already been a year since I photographed Diane, Gregg and the kids, but it has.  We had shot at Steveston last year and this year Diane asked for a Vancouver city/mountain view so we decided on Vanier Park.

It was an absolutely beautiful evening for September - here are some of our shots....

Paige

Catherine & Dan came in for a maternity session with daughter Taylor at the beginning of July. You can see some of their images here.

It was great to see them again with the newest member of the family, little Paige.

Getting all four family members in one spot proved challenging but we got there in the end. 

Congrats on the arrival of Paige - it was lovely to work with you all again!

Deanne's Family

Wednesday was Deanne's parents' 30th wedding anniversary, so the family got together for some family portraits.  We met up in the evening down at Garry Point Park where we had some nice soft light.

Casual family portraits are great when extended families get together.  An awesome way to remember a special time or just celebrate being together.

Carmelita

So on Sunday I got to hang out with Carmelita, Jenn and Al at Trout Lake.  This was the third time for me to photograph Carmelita and boy has she grown!

Amanda bought a portrait gift certificate for her Dad for Christmas so this weekend we headed down to Garry Point for some family shots.  I had just been there the day before with Leslie and Gabe so I knew what the area had to offer.  It's a great place with some cool rocks, beach and large park area.  Here's a selection of images from each area....

Christine & Marcus - August 13, 2007

Christine & Marcus came from Germany for their Stanley Park wedding with their two boys, Ben & Tom. This was Marcus' 6th visit to Vancouver, and Christine's 3rd.

The day was beautiful, bright, and hot!

We had picked a spot down by Lost Lagoon for their intimate ceremony performed by Karen Ell, and witnessed by a variety of wildlife. I doubled as photographer and witness.


We did some casual portraits and some family photos. Ben & Tom, who usually don't like having their photo taken, really got into it and were even suggesting shots like this one.....


Perhaps having them climb trees had something to do with it...

Don, Lee, Lydia & Stella

I met Don, Lee and Lydia in April when I did a maternity shoot for them. Stella arrived soon after and it was my pleasure to be able to do a second shoot with the whole gang.
