I'm super excited!  This has been a long time coming and we are almost there. My new website and blog will be launching very soon.  Be prepared for some changes and a new look. Marianna

Elena had her maternity shoot in mid November when she had just 4 days left until her baby was due. Turned out she got in just in time as little Marianna came along only a few days later.

Sofia

Andres and Patricia received an LS Photography gift certificate from work for baby photography a few months ago and so brought little Sofia in for some photos. At 4 months old Sofia is adorable with her big brown eyes.

Hailey

One of the things I really love about baby shoots is that they are never ever the same. You just can't predict how active, alert, placid, happy, sleepy, hungry etc a babe will be. We totally work around them and timing is loosely scheduled to make sure that we have enough time. In the case of Hailey however, nothing was a problem....

Ellary

Ellary is just the cutest little girl! At first very shy and unsure, she soon warmed up. Here are a few favs from our session....

Larissa brought Sasha and Jack in at about this time last year for photos and were back again this year. Both of them had grown so much!

Karen's Family

I hadn't seen Karen for perhaps two years, so I was thrilled when she called to book some family portraits. Our rainy day plan was to shoot in one of my favourite under cover areas - under the Burrard Bridge, but when I arrived I was horrified to find my shooting area had been turned into carparking for the City.

Karen suggested an alternate at Kits Beach so we moved there.  It was a good choice of location although freeeeeezing cold. We did a few warm up shots and then they were brave enough to take off their hats and coats.....

And Eamon...I have lots of him smiling too, but I really like this one...

Just as we were leaving I saw these trees and had to take a few shots. They may be the very last sign of Fall in Vancouver....

It was awesome to reconnect again Karen and to see how your family has grown up.

Casper

Nicolle and Simon were looking for photos of newborn Casper and were referred to me by their doula. Here is Casper...already very strong and moving around a lot.

I just love newborn babies little hands and feet!

Elena contacted me last week to see if I was available for a maternity shoot. Turns out when she came in that she was just 4 days from her due date! And she was still working! I was totally impressed. Here are a few shots of Elena and hubby Roman...
