Dawn & Rob - September 20, 08

Dawn & Rob were married at the beautiful Rockwater Secret Cove Resort on the Sunshine Coast.  Although it wasn't sunny, the rain did hold off and the views from the Resort were awesome.

We took an early ferry across from Vancouver and arrived in time to have a coffee and explore a little bit before joining Dawn as she was having her hair done.

I was sooo excited when I saw this rock!  

The Resort had a lovely boardwalk through the trees up to amazing tenthouse suites.  I wish we had been staying there!

Nicole, Garth & Kaden

Good friends are hard to come by and it's really really hard to say goodbye, but that's what I'm doing today.  Garth and Nicole, with little guy Kaden are flying out to Melbourne, Australia today.

I first met Nicole and Garth when I shot their wedding a couple of years back.  Since then we have become good friends and I have been privileged to also document their relationship and family through maternity photos and photos of baby Kaden (who is just adorable!).

On Thursday Nicole, Garth, Kaden, Susannah and I went out to dinner for the last time. Beforehand we went down to Kits Beach to take a few family shots so they could remember Vancouver.

Diane, Gregg, Austin & Moraya

I can't believe it has already been a year since I photographed Diane, Gregg and the kids, but it has.  We had shot at Steveston last year and this year Diane asked for a Vancouver city/mountain view so we decided on Vanier Park.

It was an absolutely beautiful evening for September - here are some of our shots....

Zyan - 3 weeks old

Yesterday I met Zyan.  I took Janna and Chris' maternity shots in July and it was nice to see them again.  Zyan is just 3 weeks old but already very long.  She was having a tough day, but we still got some great shots.

Alex & Chris - September 7, 08

Alex and Chris were married at Morgan Creek Golf Course.  I started the day with the girls getting ready.  Here are a few shots...

Alex and Chris decided to meet before the ceremony.  We arranged this at the Stewart Farmhouse.

We did a few shots there....

...before heading down to Crescent Beach.  The beach was the most crowded I've ever seen, but we still managed to get some good shots...

Then it was off to get married......here are the rings....
