Mildred & Troy's engagement session

Mildred and Troy took me to one of their favourite spots for walking (I discovered Troy likes walking.....) where we wandered along the trail to the beach stopping for a few shots along the way.

Kujo participated in some of the shots.

Mildred has one of the most fabulous smiles I've ever seen.

I really like going to Parks as there is such a variety of scenery and that rugged BC beauty.

Luckily for Troy, I like walking too so it was fun!

Wendy & Chris - July 7, 2007

A very very popular date.

Wendy and Chris were married in a very popular place - Beacon Hill Park in Victoria. Although I saw a few couples strolling around, one couple going through the Park in their limo and another by Pirate Ship (yup, you read that right), we did not encounter any other Bridal Parties or Photographers which was really nice in such a popular spot.

Wendy arrived by horse and carriage to where Chris was waiting eagerly.

We stayed in the Fountain Lake area for family, bridal party and couple shots. It's a very pretty place and very peaceful.

Wendy and Chris had their reception at the Coast Hotel out on the patio. Wendy's Grandma was a riot!

Cathy & Paul - July 1, 2007

Cathy and Paul came up from California to get married so I first met them in person the day before their ceremony.

As rain had been forecast all week, they had decided to hold the ceremony under the covered walkway just outside the entrance to the Van Dusen Gardens. Jill from Jack and Jill Weddings did an awesome job of turning it into a serene and tranquil area.

The ceremony was delayed slightly due to a flat tyre on Paul and Cathy's vehicle and the tow truck which hoisted the car up and sat there idling noisily for several minutes. Paul sorted that out!

Cathy really wanted to see Paul's face as he watched her come down the aisle.


Cathy is in a wheelchair so the ceremony was seated.

We took a quick tour around the Gardens to do some family shots and some quick photos of the happy couple before they all went to their dinner reception.

Kamelia & Jeff - June 30, 2007

Kamelia & Jeff had an informal ceremony in the Rose Garden at Stanley Park followed by a reception dinner at the Rowing Club.

I met them at their hotel and got a couple of quick pix of the happy couple before we went to the Park.

We took a quick tour around the Park before the ceremony to get some photos. Both Kamelia and Jeff are runners so we had to stop at the running man statue.

Next, we took some shots at the Lighthouse. Would you believe rain had been forecast for most of the week? Look at that sky!

The Stanley Park bus went by and so we popped onboard for a shot or two. Here are Kamelia and Jeff with the friendly driver.

We stopped briefly at Prospect Point which is my favourite spot in the Park. I love the height, the different levels and the views you can get there.

Running is important to these guys - check out the shoes on the cake topper!

Lastly, I'll leave you with one of the views from the Rowing Club. No wonder everyone sat outside on the deck!
