Last week we had the most amazing mini break ever! Mini break because at just 3 nights it was not long enough to be a holiday, but it was such a relaxing, rejuvenating time-out from the city.
We stayed in a cabin at Point no Point on the Island. The cabins are on the hillside above the ocean so you can chill all day listening to the crashing waves and birdsongs.
There are a number of walkways down to the beach and rocks. Dotted along them are red benches to stop and enjoy the views. This one has seen many couples....

I could sit and watch the ocean, the birds and the ships for hours....

Not to mention the stunning sunsets from the balcony...
I made friends with the Stellar's Jays which came down to feed on the balcony railing. This one in particular was quite precocious.
Point no Point was a fabulous place and we are already planning another trip...
