Elena contacted me last week to see if I was available for a maternity shoot. Turns out when she came in that she was just 4 days from her due date! And she was still working! I was totally impressed. Here are a few shots of Elena and hubby Roman...

Linh & Matt

Linh & Matt came in on Sunday for a maternity shoot.  By chance we discovered we are located in the same neighbourhood - they live quite near the studio.

Linh had had her make up done at Mac Downtown before the shoot - she looked great!

Nicole & Erik

Nicole and Erik came in for their maternity shoot today and I really enjoyed chatting to them. Nicole had been to New Zealand and Erik is actually studying long distance at Otago University so it was cool to chat a bit about NZ too.

Leanne & Marcus

Marcus bought Leanne a maternity/baby gift certificate after seeing Leanne taking photos of herself in the mirror - quite a difficult thing to do!  What a great idea!

They brought Caige and Andrew with them to get some family shots too.

Raj & Jack

This is such a madly busy time of the year for everyone.  Raj is due just before Christmas and Jack runs a mobile tyre business.  EVERYBODY wanted to change their tyres this week with the snow forecast so he was pretty busy, but we managed to get the shoot in.

I always get excited when I see tattoos, pierces or other body art - it makes for beautiful photography and is quite personal.

Barbara & Tariq - maternity session

Barbara & Tariq are based in Kelowna but had a maternity session done while they were in Vancouver for a few days. They have both recently come back from overseas and lead very interesting lives.

It was great to meet them both and take some photos of them together. Here are a few of my favs from today's session....
