Kit

Kit was referred to me by a co-worker whose maternity photos I took last year. It also turned out that I had shot another of her co-worker's wedding a few years ago.  Kit spotted their photos and testimonial on my website. I am constantly amazed at how small this city really is - people you meet know people you've met etc. It happens all the time and is quite wonderous.

Anyway, on to the photos.  Here's Kit....

Johanna

Johanna received a maternity photography session as a shower gift and was able to sneak in this week with only two weeks to go.  Here are some shots from the session....

Cheryl & Chris

I first met Cheryl and Chris 2 years ago when they were pregnant with their daughter Caitlyn. I was delighted to hear they were expecting again and wanted to come in for a second round of photos.  It was great to see them again - but I can't believe it's been 2 years!

Anja & Zeus

Anja & Zeus came in for some maternity photos. The power of the internet is so cool - they were able to get local info and my studio was so close they were able to walk here.

These guys were lovely and we just chatted on throughout the shoot.

Of course we had to get some shots with their dog, Shilo, who did really well despite being in a very interesting new environment.

This one makes me laugh!

Jennifer & Mike

Mike bought Jennifer a Photography Gift Certificate for their anniversary and this weekend they came in for session one - maternity.

We chatted our way through the session which is always nice.  It's great getting to know people a bit while we shoot.

This is my favourite shot of them together as to me it shows their relationship as a couple - lots of laughter.

Jaspreet, René & Noémie

Jaspreet had booked her maternity shoot awhile back, but on Friday I was still feeling bad (I have had a cold all week) so I called her to give her the option of postponing.  Jaspreet said she didn't think she could wait, so we went ahead with the shoot.  

Jaspreet, René, and Noémie were a great family to work with.

  

René is totally into photography and had photographed Jaspreet during her first pregnancy, but it was great to get some shots with him as well.

Tamara & Jacky

Tamara is a dancer and is one of the most flexible people I've met.....I know I could never ever come close to doing this and I'm not pregnant!
