Trent & Brent - June 15, 2009

I was very privileged to be asked to photograph Trent and Brent's wedding which was a small, intimate gathering of close friends and relatives.  Trent's family traveled from the States to be with him and support him on his wedding day.

We met the guys in their apartment just before the ceremony and we got a few quick touching up shots.

Then it was a short walk through the West End to the Coast Plaza Hotel with some casual photo ops along the way....

I love this one Susannah took as they were walking....

The ceremony site was outside on the Hotel Garden patio and was lovely.  Luckily the sun stayed out for us...

Then we popped across to the Rose Garden in Stanley Park for family photos.  Here's the whole gang.

The guests then went back to the Hotel while we wandered around the Park, stopping at various points along the way.  Here are a few of my favs.....

I could have photographed these two all day!

Congratulations Trent and Brent and best wishes for your future together.

Kieran & Jen are fun loving, vibrant women, very much in love and it was our pleasure to work with them on their wedding day.

Here are some images from the day:

Blue and orange is one of my favourite colour combinations - it just pops!

I love the colour and texture of late Summer grass!

The rings....

The first dance....
Good friends....

Pam & Cheryl

Last weekend I did a combo family portrait/couple portrait shoot with Pam & Cheryl and Pam's family. I really enjoyed their family interaction - there's a lot of love and laughter there.

Here are a few shots from the day.

We did most of the session in the family garden which has some amazing plants and then Pam, Cheryl and I went to Pam's old elementary school for a few more shots.

This is one of my favourites from the day as Pam tells the story of how she met Cheryl.

Cool rings!

I think Pam & Cheryl look really great together.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay for brunch, but I hear Pam's Mum cooks up a storm!
