Jasmine & Adam were married at Whonnock Lake. It is really beautiful out there and we (I include myself here) were very excited by the venue and the photo ops it has. However, if you've been victim to the weather these past couple of weeks, you'd know that it's been raining almost constantly. The forecast for Saturday was for 25 mm of rain in the afternoon so we had scouted out alternate locations for photos, but with a 2 pm ceremony, failing light was also a concern.
I started the day with the girls getting ready at their hotel....

Jasmine had two pair of shoes for her day....

Susannah started with Adam and the grooms-people at another hotel. Here's the man of the day...

Jasmine & Adam must be two of the luckiest people around, because Saturday afternoon got brighter and brighter and by 2 pm we knew we would be able to shoot outside. Whonnock Lake did not disappoint, and Jasmine, Adam and the bridal party were total troopers as it was pretty cold out.

I do love adventurous brides and I do love rocks :)
Oh, and isn't the sky totally awesome too!

Right as the sun went down we took a couple of final shots in the forest. Beautiful!

Here's the first dance.....

They had a "One Love" cake and a live reggae band "Mostly Marley" who were awesome!

Congratulations Jaz & Adam - it was our pleasure to work with you in capturing your day. All the best for a long and happy life together!
