Jill & Scott - October 4, 2008

Jill & Scott had their ceremony and reception at Furry Creek Golf and Country Club, a venue known for it's stunning views over Howe Sound.  Saturday October 4 was about as rainy as it gets, but Jill and Scott did not let the rain dampen their spirits or their day.

Despite the rain we went out on the golf course.  Jill and Scott were amazing and chose to have almost all their shots without umbrellas.  A little rain doesn't hurt, right?  Nice one guys, it was definitely worth it!

Laura & Steve - August 28, 08

Laura & Steve were married on Thursday at Furry Creek Golf & Country Club.  The ceremony was originally scheduled outdoors, but Thursday was rain, rain and more rain, so it was moved to the Creekside Room.

I started the day in the bridal room with Laura getting ready.  Here are a couple of details - first, the dress.....

Laura played with her hands a lot - I love the little signs of anticipation before the ceremony....

Their ceremony was performed by the fabulously witty Rev Brent Sheppard, although the line of the day award definitely goes to Steve :)

Then, despite the rain we headed out on to the golf course for some shots.  These two were game to get outside and capture some beautiful BC on their wedding day and we did just that. The clouds and mist over the water were amazing!

Claire & Martin - June 28, 08

Claire & Martin had a fabulously hot and sunny day for their wedding at Furry Creek Golf Course. Theirs was a small, intimate wedding in the beautiful Creekside Room.

I started the day with the group getting ready.

Martin golfs, and had played a round that morning, so we had to get some golf shots....

Claire & Martin had one long table for all their guests at their reception. It was beautifully arranged and decorated by Lois Keane. My day finished as everyone sat down for a champagne toast to the happy couple.....

Julia & Evren - October 13, 2007

Julia and Evren's wedding was my last time at Furry Creek for this year. It was an absolutely stunning October day and showed the Golf Course at it's finest. Julia and Evren were just blown away by the views - it really does have some of the nicest views around!

As theirs was a culturally mixed wedding, Julia and Evren put a lot of thought into the details of their ceremony and reception. Here are some of the details of the day....

Cindy & Uriah - September 30, 2007

Cindy & Uriah were married at Furry Creek. I am getting to know the area quite well now and I really like it there.

I started with Cindy in the bridal room and got a few shots of her dress and accessories.

It was a really cold and wet day and so we kept our bridal party shots nice and cosy. Here are the girls.....

Cindy and Uriah were game enough to do a quick tour of the golf course despite the rain. I've never seen the river run so fast!


Out on the top hole we got some BC misty shots - you wouldn't know it was raining the whole time - thanks guys for being up for the challenge!


Back at the Clubhouse we got a chance to dry out and warm up with a few more indoor photos. I found some sweet light on the stairs.


Cindy and Uriah live in Whistler and snowboard. Their cake (made by Cindy's cousin) rocked!
